Introducting GreeneStripe

GreeneStripe is a new theme for Wordpress by the people who brought you the rdc theme. We’ve included some cool features in this template, feast your eyes on all this lot

  • Support for Widgets as standard
  • script.alico.us library included out of the box (does it really need this?)
  • uses the rounded corners javascript (any point?)
  • uses the FamFamFam silk icons set of 1000 icons, plenty of choice for extendability!

This and more to com (add to this list as you think about things jonny!)

To do…

  • Ping backs style
  • don’t forget side bar for none widget people
  • add gavatar support
  • fix div jumping problem in Firefox

Okay, I can’t resist… so - it’s an interesting design - one I’m not to keen on, but that is to say badly designed. It’s very well designed in fact…

- The headings on the left should probably be rounded boxes (Archives, Categories etc..)
- It’s great including FamFamFam icons with this theme, but sadly they don’t actually suit this design - this is my biggest concern. They just don’t sit well at all :-( I would say a more simplistic style of iconography was needed with this design in fact.
